I have a question regarding the new supabase jwt signing keys after saw the video on youtube. Is the new function getClaims available also for flutter or this new function is available only in nextjs?

There is no getClaims method in the flutter sdk. It's only been added to the JS and Python SDK so far. You can however use any JWT library as stated in the blog post https://supabase.com/blog/jwt-signing-keys#getting-the-most-benefit

@Riccardo Crippa Is the new getClaims function available in the Flutter SDK as well, or is it currently limited to the Next.js implementation?

@silentworks No, I’m not a bot I’m just trying to help because I understood the issue and shared a suggestion based on that

There was no suggestion though, the question was just re-iterated by you.

I already read it but i do not get how to use it and if I need to make some changes to my codebase. This is a different approach than the video.

What video? getClaims is not related directly to signing keys but to asymmetric JWTs which are optional. If you are using Flutter then either wait to implement the new JWTs or if you need to use getClaims type functionality now then the link provided shows you would need to use a JWT decoding library for Flutter.

The new way to do Auth Keys in Supabase
We are improving the way we manage keys at Supabase, making things more secure and performant. In this video, we introduce two new concepts: 🗝️ JWT Signing Keys - an asymmetric JWT, allowing your application to verify a user, without waiting for a network request to the Supabase Auth Server 🔑 API Keys - a new publishable and secret key...
