It sounds like you're having trouble flashing your nice!nano with the .uf2 file, encountering error 0x800701B1 across multiple cables and Windows 11 computers. This error often indicates an issue with the transfer process itself, rather than the nice!nano being faulty. While you've tried different cables and computers, there's a known issue with transferring .uf2 files on macOS version 13.0 using Finder. Although you're on Windows, sometimes similar underlying issues can manifest. Here's what you can try: 1. Ensure you're in the bootloader: Double-tap the reset button on your nice!nano to enter the bootloader. The NICENANO drive should appear. If it doesn't, try manually shorting the RST and GND pins on the nice!nano with metal tweezers and double-tapping that way. You can find more details on entering the bootloader here: docs.typeractive.xyz/troubleshooting/entering-bootloader 2. Try copying the file instead of dragging and dropping: Instead of dragging and dropping the .uf2 file, try copying it (Ctrl+C) and then pasting it (Ctrl+V) directly onto the NICENANO drive. 3. Check for driver issues (less likely given multiple computers, but worth a shot): Sometimes, outdated or corrupted USB drivers can cause transfer issues. You could try updating your USB drivers on one of your Windows 11 machines. If these steps don't resolve the issue, please let me know, and we can explore further troubleshooting. You can reply to this message for more help.

ok so I tried this with a macbook, how do i know if it has worked? the drive just disappeared from finder after I copied the uf2 file on. Ok so if i have the board powered on, I can no longer get the error message but I still dont think it worked? Ok so I got it to work. I needed the boards to be powered on when I went to copy the .UF2 files onto them

I had similar issues, I just clicked try again a few times, and although it says it failed, my custom keybinds got saved anyway 😭
