hardware setup for immich
Hi, i'm new to all of this and aim to build a setup for immich. I'll be abroad for a few months soon, and don't want to deal with google photos anymore.
I've seen tutorials about setting up and using immich, but no really clear indication on what to buy or not to get to that point.
I've made a list :
- raspberry pi 5 (or 4 idk)
- hdd (ssd might be overkill idk)
- and eventually a "suitcase" for the raspberry (with passive cooling to avoid consumming too much electricity)
i really want to have a light power consumption, hence these choices, but i'm here to see if there are better alternatives or if i need to get other items
