also reinstalled satis and the mod manager
its giving me that error everytime i switch profiles and then when i boot the game it doesnt load the mods

are you trying to import a profile and failing?
reselecting "default" from the drop down profile box might fix it & make the odd behaviour go away
its working now but whenever i join a friend his game crashes

yeah we fixed that one
but now a new one occured
says assertion failed
there's no crash in this log, you need to generate the zip immediately after the crash

No guarantee that this will work but it's worth a shot in my opinion.
Make a chest for the player who can't join's stuff. Load your save into SCIM, make a note of what's in their inventory and add those items to the chest, then delete their player character. Download the save and load it - see if they can connect.

the main problem is that when i join his game he crashes but then when i take his savegame to MY singleplayer i crash
so that should mean something is in that world that i dont have the mod of ? but then before loading the save it doesnt tell me im missing a mod

No, I'm pretty sure the problem is that the inventory of your player character has got corrupted.
Doing the stuff I listed above will result in the game creating a new player character for you, thus correcting the issue
where would he delete my character as my stuff in my inventory is much lower than our current production state
it's been a while since I've used it, but I think you find it on the map, right click it, and select delete
the problem is theres only one player shown on the calculator map
Hm, odd. Try just downloading it from the map and joining anyway, sometimes it can smooth out issues as it fully parses & regenerates the save
i did that and when i use it in single player i get the same error

That's what led me to believe it was your inventory which is the problem. Anything which holds items uses that code, but since it happens on join the inventory is pretty much guaranteed to be it
you could try blanking out the inventory of the one player character in SCIM
yeah so the save editor of the calculator doesnt exist anymore
