Can't downgrade to legacy 1.3

After downgrading tModLoader to Legacy 1.3 to revisit some classic mods like Shadows of Abaddon and Ancients Awakened, the launcher refuses to start. When I click “Play,” in steam it waits a few seconds, then silently stops without opening a window or displaying any error message

We need log files to help you. You'll find the log files in the logs folder. Look for client.logclient.log. (NOT the .zip.zip file, the file named clientclient or client.logclient.log)
Windows Logs: %UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\Terraria\ModLoader\Logs%UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\Terraria\ModLoader\Logs (This is typically found in C:\Documents\C:\Documents\)
Linux Logs: ~/.local/share/Terraria/ModLoader/Logs/~/.local/share/Terraria/ModLoader/Logs/ or $XDG_DATA_HOME/Terraria/ModLoader/Logs/$XDG_DATA_HOME/Terraria/ModLoader/Logs/
Mac Logs: ~/Library/Application support/Terraria/ModLoader/Logs/~/Library/Application support/Terraria/ModLoader/Logs/
After you find the file, simply drag and drop it onto Discord.
