failed to detect an installation of wine
Got myself into a bit of a pickle. On Bazzite, I ran "sudo rpm-ostree install wine" and it allowed my Discord plugin to work great. I just ran "rpm-ostree reset" to remove my layers to do an update... Well, running the install wine again didn't just bring it back to normal. Opendeck is saying "failed to detect an installation of Wine" now. Any ideas?

Strange thing is, every other plugin I attempt to install works no problem. Including other elgato ones, but not the Discord plugin.
probably because those ones don't need wine
okay, talking with universal blue guys - wine isn't preinstalled with bazzite. think uninstalling wine and reinstalling it may work?
this is what i'm seeing
ublue team in troubleshooting is requesting i ask you to add wine dependencies within the flatpak (just being a messenger)
This was already discussed, but unfortunatly wine flatpak is not compatible with almost all plugins since localhost in wine flatpak is different from the host localhost.
understood, just forwarding their message.
Got that. Just as information for you. Unfortunatly almost all plugins use localhost and wpuld need to be rewritten which is not feasable.
Are you by chance able to decypher what my log is telling me when trying to install wine? I just don't quite understand how it went from working great to not at all.
Only on the phone right now, but it seems that wine is not available in the repositorys set up.
That's what I thought it was saying, but so weird - it worked last week when I had everything running good lol Thanks
I can try sometime next week in a virtual machine if you want.
That would rock
Just to update on my troubleshooting, I had installed wine-devel via "rpm-ostree install wine-devel", had no luck initially. I switched to my dual boot for PUBG with the boys. Returning home to Bazzite, I attempted the plugin install again and somehow - it works.
wine-devel is the only layer I have right now.
