Issues with Automatic Backup and Selective Uploads on Beta Timeline
Summary
On the latest Immich Android app version with the beta timeline, the automatic backup feature does not work. While individual files can be uploaded successfully by manually selecting them, the general backup process fails to upload files, resulting in "ghost" files that reappear after an app restart.
Environment
Platform: Android 16
Immich Version: Latest
Feature: Beta Timeline
Steps to Reproduce
The Immich app should initiate a backup automatically when new media files are detected.
All queued files should be uploaded successfully, regardless of whether it's a mass backup or an individual upload.
Actual Behavior
The automatic backup does not start, requiring manual initiation.
The general backup process fails to upload certain files, which become "ghost" files.
Individual uploads of these same files work correctly, indicating the issue is with the mass backup process.
Troubleshooting Performed
Individual files can be manually uploaded one by one, but the main backup functionality is not reliable.
