Find all broken image links?
I have a bunch of broken image links in my library from when I was using a Backblaze network folder mount directly as my upload folder.
Now I've finally managed to upgrade to a local truenas setup instead and I'd like to find all the broken image assets so I can delete & reupload them (so they don't get flagged as duplicates). Any suggestions on how best to achieve that?

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed. How large is your library @jonnyparris ?
133Gb
Alright that's pretty big to do frilly things in 👀
How do you know the links are broken?
The images don't load 😅
Thumbnails are blurred and then they don't load when clicked
For example

Ah like that
If you try "regenerate thumbnails" on those assets, does it bring htem back or are they completely gone @jonnyparris ?
seemingly completely gone
I think they were written to the database while the write to the filesystem was corrupted / incomplete
yep yep
The bad news is there is no easy way
how can i find the file path where immich thinks an image should be found?
on mobile tap on it and press the 3 dots top right
huh, that uh is missing 😛
best bet would be web app then

webapp only shows the file name 🙁

which version is this screenshot from?
Every version 🌝
Is this a shared library perhaps?
Yes it's shared
You won't be able to see the image path for items that you don't own
Even as admin?
Yes
Feature request?
If I'm admin then I own the server and can crawl the filetree myself anyway. The extra transparency would be sooo useful for this kind of debugging
Also just checking now and I can't see the path even for images that I uploaded
Is that a quirk of shared libraries in general?
It used to exist but now it doesn't 😛
No that shouldn't be the case
Just made sure and yes, I can see the path on my own items but not the shared ones and vice versa
Duh totally missed the big red arrow to click the info icon in screenshot above. OK confirming I can at least see the path for my own pics now
Any particular reason why this regressed? Should I raise in general?
The page was very slow for most and outright broken if you had a lot of misplaced assets
It was decided to remove it for now
So it couldn't ironically break more things
