Cannot install mods on dedicated server

Hey guys! I was trying to get a couple of mods installed on my dedicated server using the Mod Manager v3.0.3 and after successfully adding my server by entering the SFTP credentials I always get this error when installing/removing mods on it:
failed to resolve lockfile: failed to write lockfile: failed writing lockfile: failed to create file: sftp: "performing OPEN gave the following error: invalid handle mode specific" (SSH_FX_OP_UNSUPPORTED)
failed to resolve lockfile: failed to write lockfile: failed writing lockfile: failed to create file: sftp: "performing OPEN gave the following error: invalid handle mode specific" (SSH_FX_OP_UNSUPPORTED)
Any ideas? Thanks in advance 🙂

what server provider are you using? there is a chance they don't allow the required ftp operations

You just mentioned the name of a hosting provider (shockbyte) that either does NOT support or has incomplete support for modded Satisfactory dedicated servers! Check the list here to learn more. https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/ForUsers/DedicatedServerSetup.html#UnsupportedHosting -# Rule logic: https://regex101.com/r/rKL6oV/ -# Responding to unsupporteddedicatedserverhost triggered by @nuuunu

do you know which FTP operations are required by SMM so I can confirm if they’re supported?

as the bot replied above, that provider is known to not work. you can try contacting their support so they can work on fixing it I don't know them offhand, but the tool is open source, and we can work with you and their support team to get that working assuming their support actually responds
