Smart search does not return results on first query
I think this issue is new in the latest version because this worked until 1.138 for sure
1. Perform a smart search for example
Green Trees
2. Hit enter and see No results Try a synonym or more general keyword
3. Search again but this time, instead of hitting enter, click on the recent searches entry for Green Trees
4. See results returned
This happens only on web - not on mobile.
I checked the logs and see no outstanding errors or the likes.
I am on version v1.139.2 build 17162633807
This happens NOT on safari, but it happens on Chrome. This is macOS.6 Replies

Cannot reproduce with Chrome on Macos

Explore > search for something and hit enter > results appear soon'ish
Though there are a couple of errors in dev console.
Could you open Developer Tools > Network tab, repeat steps 1+2, check
smart url and its Response?
It does not log such query at all, there is also no spinner when I search, it just immediately goes empty
Only on step 3 it does log that query and has a spinner and all good
The only thing I get in network on step 2 is
metadata

Tested in chrome anonymouse browser, does not happen
Deleted ALL chrome browsing data (all time) ... .stopped happening!
Weird, but solved. Feel free to close if you feel this is a non-issue or is worth investigate (at this point cannot replicate it anymore)
Happens again - I navigated around a bit (trashed an item etc)
Clear cache solves it again.
