All new images are being marked as duplicated but still imported
I'm adding some new files and they all say they're duplicates. I also see this in my web.log

Not sure what's going on.
Also the file's that are named are not the ones I just tried to import
Send the things as required so we can help you with this.
I'm not using docker, using LXC. I know it's not supported. I figured I would ask anyway
The error you posted is specifically what happens when an asset is a duplicate and is rejected on upload. What makes you say they're "still imported"?
I've imported files after that error and they still tell me their duplicates in the UI but they get imported
if you look at the log, it seems everytime I import a file, I get the same error stack
but they get importedI need you to substantiate this more Details, screenshots, etc

weird, that one imported
hold on
wth, now it's working
The IT aura strikes again
yeah I know it all too well, been in IT for 25 years
that was weird
still question, now does immich determine a duplicate, hash of the file?
yup
thought so
