Mod Manager - Slow/Doesn't Work?
Hey - This is super weird, I usually have to try really janky ways to get mods to actually update on my server via the mod manager. I have version v3.0.3 - what usually happens is when I make any changes to mods it'll sit and do the loading animation with the moving bar endlessly (see picture for example).
I also hang on checking for updates forever.
Sometimes it works if I delete the server from mod manager and try again, sometimes I have to delete and re-import the profile, etc.
It's a dedicated server via indifferent broccoli.
Just wondering if there's a reason or a setting I've missed! Any help is appreciated 🙂

Sounds like there's just connection issues between you and indifferent broccoli, which is odd. We could try looking at your SMM log but I'm not convinced there'll be anything in it

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced here in this channel.
If you need to access older log files, see https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_Logs
Here you go 🙂

Something has caused your profile file to become corrupted. Please do the following:
1. Go to the Mod Manager profiles folder on your computer
2. Upload the files here so we can try to find out what went wrong.
3. Delete the profile files so the mod manager can open again.
4. Install the Satisfactory Mod Loader mod, then try to load your save file. This will produce a warning message telling you what mods you had installed when you last played the save file. If the message is too long, the game's log files will contain the full list.

Interesting! Will do
This is a mess btw because I was having such trouble I ended up with 5 different profiles or something dumb lmao
also I'd be surprised if it was connection issues on my end, I have a 2.5gb connection, mostly symmetrical
