Hello everyone,
I'd like to share my recent experience using the RunPod service to set up a ComfyUI environment.
I loaded $10 intending to use the platform for my project, but unfortunately, I encountered severe instability issues and ended up losing $8. The main problem was constant environment instability and frequent disconnections, which made it impossible to work or use the service for its intended purpose.
I tried multiple pods at different times, but the result was always the same: a service that simply wasn't reliable. After a very frustrating experience and losing both time and money, I gave up and switched to Google Colab, where the same task worked without any issues.
My goal in sharing this is not to ask for a refund, but to warn other users about my experience with the platform's instability, especially with the ComfyUI environment. The feedback I sent through the company's support form received a generic AI-generated response that basically blamed "community software," which, in my opinion, is unacceptable, since the problem was clearly with the underlying infrastructure.
I hope my feedback is useful for the RunPod team to investigate these stability issues and for other users to avoid the same frustrating situation.
Thank you.
