Import from terminal
I have some thousands of photos on a Linux machine that only uses terminal and has no gui.
Is there a way I can upload them to my ente account (it’s on a self hosted instance)
I know cli has export, but I don’t think it has import

Ente's CLI tool can be used to export data. Please see https://github.com/ente-io/ente/tree/main/cli#readme for instructions on installing the Ente CLI. If you are self-hosting, you can configure the Ente CLI to export data and perform basic administrative actions; see https://help.ente.io/self-hosting/administration/cli for more information.
You can also use the desktop app to export your data to a folder of your choice. The desktop app also supports "continuous" exports, where it will automatically export new items in the background without you needing to run any other cron jobs. See https://help.ente.io/photos/migration/export/ for more details.
