General Problems

TModLoader will not:
Deploy to Terraria,
Open at all due to this (black cmd prompt window,
Create a log folder, or log the launch (last log was from 3 months ago)
Create a dotnet folder...

It's not controlled folder access as I have EVERYTHING in windows security turned off and made tmodloader an exception

If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on tModLoader in the library, then hover over Manage and click on Browse local files. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old folder and drag them into this chat. Looks like you are running into a bug on the preview version of tModLoader (preview-v2024.X). You likely didn't intend to be on the beta/development version of tModLoader. Many mods won't work on preview. To switch to normal stable 1.4.4 tModLoader, close the game, right click on tModLoader in Steam, click properties, then betas, then select None in the dropdown. Steam will now download the files. You'll need to copy over players and worlds you want to keep from the preview save folder as well.

i had to edit in snapchat to speed up the video so it is small enough to send and partially bc i cant screen record and also screen record the video i edited on snap on my phone so i can send bc it said ‘file cant be empty’ when i tried to send earlier on my phone
