Something crazy going on
I had data loss so I restored 100% from backup which was fine and worked well. This was on a new os completely and immich worked fine last night. I shut down pc overnight after backing up. Today I turn on PC and immich and immich tells me to set up an admin account as the first account in order to set up the machine... What's going on.

Ok small chance ok looks like my drive wasn't auto mounted 🤦will try and close this if that's the case.
It's mounted and still it shows me to create an admin user 😞
I restarted portainer and containers
And still same issue
Here are logs after recreating postgres DB container:

If the drive was not mounted when you did the restore odds are you restored into the postgres image
A little late but: please don't use external drives for the database
Wouldn't it be fixed though once I recreated the stack though/recreated the containers?
The drive was mounted when I added the files yesterday and all..
And I saw my images
I'll clarify, yesterday my immich worked fine. Today I rebooted and it didn't work fine. I tried to see why, and I saw that the drive was not mounted after reboot. So I mounted and then recreated all containers. And it still shows the issue.
Easy way to check would be restarting the stack with the db data location volume commented
It seems like portainer is showing my volumes are not Mounted 🤔
Something was wonky with my mount point
It finally works
Told you 👀
So I guess I misunderstood, the drive is an internal SSD but not the os drive (I have a pretty nice gmktec mini pc nas).
The drive was mounted and I could see it, but I guess somehow incorrectly. I had warp re-mount it and recreated stack. Then it finally worked. But yeah I was scared for a minute but not too much because I have backups and saw files and all. Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks I'm so happy all my data isn't lost. Fantastic software
If you got it all figured out, feel free to /close
