Stuck on "Syncing Mods," Then Moves on to "Lost Connection"
So, me and my friend are trying to play Thorium together, but whenever I try joining him, I get stuck on the "Syncing Mods" screen, then after a couple minutes it moves on to "Lost Connection." After about 20 minutes of this, I tried making a world and he tried joining, same problem. Its an issue definitely an issue on my part, as my friend plays with others all the time without issues. Also, this is my first time playing Terraria in months, but I was able to play just fine last time I played, so I'm not really sure what's going wrong here. Help would be appreciated.
