Photo timestamp wrong
Some of my uploaded photos dont have the right dates. So far i've noticed this with some pictures that are uploaded through the IOS app.
The original date of the photo is 2022
But the date showing in immich is 2025-09-04, which is a few days prior to my upload date.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:

- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close command, and re-open it later if needed.Wild guess because I'm not sure if this was the case with this photo but potentially its getting the date wrong if the photo is downloaded from icloud then uploaded to immich?

Immich displays / stores the wrong date and time metadata - Immich
I have an issue with immich displaying wrong time/date info for certain photos. When I reindex the matadata, this persists. What can I do to fix this. Even reuploading (which has the correct date) has the same issue. Here you can see it uploading with the correct date. But immich displays it like this. It also seems to change the actual metadata...
is there any update on this issue
seems like there was a server side fix recently let me try to upload again
i wish there was an easier way to figure out which past uploads are dated incorrectly, im just looking at my recents and seeing what looks incorrect but there may be photos dated earlier that are wrong too
still wrong after re-uploading
i think its related to this, seems like the trouble is with photos in my camera roll that are from other apps, they show up correcty in ios photos but not in immich
