After latest update nothing is synced anymore

Setup: Immich as an Unraid App, updated iOS App, updated Issue: After the latest update with the (awesome) new timeline, all my pictures are shown as cloud only, like it forgot that the local files are there too. I reinstalled the app and left the backup running over night, and it did basically nothing. It just made a queue out of all my pictures, and uploaded some duplicates. Is there anything I can do to make it realize the local and remote pictures are the same?

Looks like it’s not hashing my files 🤔 I have the iCloud optimize iPhone storage turned on, is that the issue? Does the hashing only work with downloaded originals?
shenlong-tanwen
That might have an impact on the hashing process, yes. But can you see your remote assets now? You can turn off the backup for now and let it run through the hashing process. Once the assets are hashed, the app with link it with the local asset and will not upload them again
Fritz "Fritz" Fritz
I see my remote assets, yes. Just it doesn’t connect them. I will download the originals, wait for the hash, then turn on backup and report back.

Thank you!
