Struggling to preview with theme dev command for theme extension
Hello. I have a gadget app for which I have also created a Shopify theme extension embed.
I am running the shopify:dev command, however when I click the link it gives it I get this message:
This makes it hard to preview while I build it

You need to first make sure that you install your application on the store on which you'd like to preview your extension
yes it is already installed
I am just having to deploy to be able to view updates
not sure why the dev command does not pick up the app
Could you please show the list of applications that is cut off in the image?
And the name of the Gadget application?
What command are you actually using? shopify app dev/yarn shopify:dev? Btw, you can see your theme app extension in the theme customizer.
yes I can see my theme app extension in the customiser
I am running the command npm run shopify:dev
But because the link does not work or find the app, I keep having to deploy to be able see changes
I'm not sure that this is a Gadget issue since you're running a Shopify CLI command
