iPhone Immich app no longer showing any photos
About a week ago my Immich app for iOS suddenly stopped working for me. All of my photos are available online through the browser but when I open the app it’s completely empty. I’ve provided a screenshots.
I’ve also noticed since losing all of my photos a symbol has appeared next to the Immich logo.
I’ve tried closing the app, uninstalling/reinstalling, restarting Immich on my TrueNAS, and rebooted the server. Ive attached the Immich app log.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed.What version is your server running? The App needs a somewhat recent server version to work.
Server version is 1.124.2
Thats way too old, that won't work anymore. You need to update that. Problem with TrueNAS is you can't update to specific versions, but you need to be on 1.132 - 1.136 first for the required database migrations. I think people in #truenas should know how to fix this situation
Ahhh sure, thanks. I tried updated Immich on TrueNAS before but I got a deploying loop and it wouldn’t work so I had to downgrade again. Is there some instructions I can follow?
Normally it should "just work" so without any logs hard to say. I never had any issues with the Immich app on TrueNAS but also never waited that long with updating.
I just updated to 1.13x to do the migrations (using helm). Still having this issue on this version. Let me upgrade to the newest stable release and try again
Yep, app on android says need to upgrade to latest minor version which is 1.142
Yes you need to end up at the current version after doing the migrations
