Face recognition changes not syncing to android
I set up immich on Friday, super impressed with the face recognition, but of course I did have to manually change a few things. Before I knew how to properly reassign a face, I deleted the old face on the web UI, then added a new face manually (with the + button in the image details). I did this for a few photos.
In the web UI, all is now well, those images show up under the right person. But on the android app the photos still show up under the initially assigned face/name. There's no way to change this, as the wrong name doesn't show up in the web UI, all is right over there, and AFAICT it's not possible to edit assigned people in the android app. I tried deleting the manually assigned face and readding it, but now the android app shows the right name twice, in addition the the wrong name. I ran face recognition job again, and reinstalled the android ap, but the problem persists.
Not sure what else to try, short of resetting the face recognition, which I'd rather not do.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:

And also what version of the server/app you're using etc
Right. On my phone now, so dont have everything handy. But the docker compose is the one I got from the install instructions. I did add my existing photos folder, which is an external library.
App version: 1.142.1 build 3015.
Server: 1.142.1
It runs on an old Intel nuc, running Ubuntu server 24.2, and i access it directly (i.e. not through a reverse proxy).
I'd be happy to dig around for any logs that may be of help.
