iOS app keeps crashing during hashing
I have got a lot of photos. Only enabled backup today after not using it due a while since the beta timeline.
I have to open app backup and it resumes.
Sometimes app can be open for an hour, sometimes only minutes. Can’t see anything in logs.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.

Is the problem that the backup is not running unless the app is opened or is it that the app is crashing?
For the backup issue, we are looking into various fixes to improve it
@shenlong-tanwen - it seems to crash when the app is opened. It is slowly hashing the assets - on 34,396 now - but I have it opened, charged with free storage on the iPhone and it does occasionally just crash
I see, can you try selecting a smaller album for backup initially, rather than selecting recents and see if it still crashes?
You can then incrementally add new albums as the assets are hashed
Will give that a go. Does it hash all Local assets, or Remote? WOrking out whether to wait until the current hash process is done
