Server Wont launch with mods
I've deployed mods to about 5 instances now and I cant for the life of me get the server to download and then extract the mods.
I'm using a CubeCoders AMP instance on just a Windows 11 installation. I've never had problems with this in the past but now its refuses to start.
I can:
- Connect to the server without mods.
- Download mods to my clint
- Connect to the server in SMM
And that's where it all stops. I cant get the server to accept the mods.

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced here in this channel.
If you need to access older log files, see https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_Logs
although I'm not sure how much logging we can do about SFTP ops
I think that's corrupted, one of the log files can't be extracted properly
and it doesn't have the smm log

You should shut down the dedicated server executable before trying to install mods on it.
there that one looks better
That path does not look like the server path
the server connection is timing out
Not sure why. I can join unmodded without issues
zero timouts or connectino issues
can you connect to it with a normal sftp client?
the log analysis picks the first log it can read and no server log was found so it picked client
it connects with SFTP in SMM. It downloads the mods and freezes when it goes to instlal them
Then, when i go to restart the server and close SMM, the server fails to start
can you connect to it and transfer files with a normal sftp client?
It is also worth noting that AMP causes SFTP to throw weird errors, but mods can be installed if pointing SMM to a network mount or local path as described here.https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/ForUsers/DedicatedServerSetup.html not sure if it's a case of this, I haven't messed with AMP or servers much personally
Even if I could I'm not adding mods that way. This has worked before without issues
No issue

Server can be connected to
But here it is again, it freezes as soon as i go to enable mods:

well outside of trying a not-SMM sftp client to see if it's the server's fault or not, I'm not sure why this one isn't working (you said your 5 others were?)
you could also try ficsit-cli instead
Ive tried this about 7 times today now. All previous server attempts before today worked flawlessly and I had a long running save
and my SFTP port is open:
