can't enable thorium
everytime i try to enable the thorium mod, the game gives me an error and tells me that thorium doesn't work in v2025.7.3.1, however my friends are using the exact same version and it's working completely fine for them
any idea on how to fix it?

you have 2 mods clashing when adding a certain item to a list
basically 2 incompatable mods
ooh
disable 1 mod and try reloading your mods
do this until the issue resolves
i just wanna add that another one of our friends and i have the same mods and it works fine for us
are you 100% sure?
if youre using multiplayer to sync mods, multiplayer ignores "client" and "noSync" mods, Lit may have a "client" sided mod that adds the item 92 to a list
also try verifying the game's files through steam too as this a music issue
if it is a music issue, it may derive from lilt not having any audio on his pc

is the latest thorium version 1.7.2.4? the guy could also possibly be trying to enable a frozen version of the mod
idk its just off of the download mods tab- he's downloading the mods the same way we are
when in the "mod list", are any of the mod's backgrounds purple rather than blue?
he's currently validating his files and got this

didnt fix just yet, for some reason it's validating again. he's gonna check the backgrounds once it's done

then yup, everything is up to date
purple backgrounds mean the mod has been downloaded locally, which prevents the mod from updating to the latest version through steam
but looks like validating steam files fixed your issue
im having him try calamity as well just in case but tysm for the help assuming its working as well
okay calamity mod music caused an error for him
and now thorium doesnt work either again
so he deleted all of the calamity mods and immediately thorium started working again
i think since calamity requires the music mod it gives him an error, since his pc doesnt actually have audio
if he has any sort of audio output to connect and leave unused might solve their issue
old headphones, 2nd hand speakers, etc
heres the audio error saying that there's no output device despite me having headphones plugged in
i've tried a bunch of solutions online and none worked
so i'll be sorting that out with a technician soon
the calamitymodmusic error is definitely from the audio problem

since when the hell did we have this
