yep, algorithmic packing is amazing but has some issues when there are things that shouldn't be packed or when there's nested groups

right now the goal is to collect the bugs into reproductions in the tscircuit/core project, that way when we refactor we can make sure we don't break things

the path simplification stage is "simplifying" through the board outline, but i'm 90% sure that that's the only remaining issue then we should be good to go, will work to get it merged as soon as i wake up
