redis timeout error after installng blueprint
20 Replies
for context, I have no idea if this is the problem
but I checked on the pterodactyl discord bot
Have you tried to restart redis
Or checking redis log
I have tried restarting it
for the logs
https://ptero.co/nugexeqese
I think its due to low memory
but I have already upgraded the ram to 2 GB
how come its not enough ðŸ˜
Have you tried using phpredis over predis
not yet
You will need to install an extension
Either via pecl or hope your software repo has that extension
aight
https://pecl.php.net/package/redis
If you install the pear package manager for php it includes the pecl package manager too
https://pear.php.net/manual/en/installation.php
honestly im really confused
but ill try my best
never mind
im clueless hahaha
let me follow your instruction
I installed the redis extension
I asked chatgpt where to change from redis to phpredis

says to add a redis client variable
is this true?
I don't remember honestly
😠why is installing blueprint hard now lmao so weird
gonna keep this thread open for some info
This never seemed like a blueprint issue to be
I think it's just predis being wacky
literally happened after installing blueprint, before installing it my panel was fineee
are you sure this is not blueprint issue?
i might reinstall pterodactyl again tonight and see what happens
Might also be some weird Laravel caching issue but blueprint should handle that
what do you recommend I should do in this situation?
I have no idea
welp, I guess time will tell, thanks for trying to help Lara!
I fixed it somehow
Solution
by just reinstalling the whole panel
