Slow syncing on iOS
Hey there, I have been trying to sync my iCloud library to immich. I selected every important album in the app to sync every photo. I came to a total of 24k photos to upload. For some reason though, the images are not uploading. It seems to be very slow and it makes tiny to zero progress. I have been trying to keep the app open for some hours, spread over several days, but it really doesn't help. Is there anything I am missing or is the app just not built to upload that many pictures? Also the app seems to crash sometimes while uploading new images.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l
and df -h
).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.
Without the right information we can't work out what the problem is. Help us help you ;)
If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed.Also I noticed that when I left the app open for a while, immich consumes so much space that my phone space is full (about 13G of immich)
I am using the newest version of ubuntu on my raspberry pi 4 with 4 gigs of RAM
The logs do not show anything sadly.

Okay apparently the app wanted me to open a ticket, just so that I have the pain of going through the checks. Now it works faster than before... After several days of trying..
