SMM can't install mods: failed to resolve lockfile

Some mods install fine, others don't install at all. Every time this happens I get a 'failed to resolve lockfile' error. SMM lists them as "installed" on the profile after the error, but checking the mod folder in my files I can see that they aren't actually there. Whenever an installation has been successful, that mod & its dependencies seem to run fine on local singleplayer and the failed mods just don't show up. I've tried deleting the [name]-lock.json files, running SMM as administrator, restarting my PC, and creating a new SMM profile to start over. The attached log is from my most recent attempt to install SML on a new, blank profile after deleting the other profiles and repeating all the other steps mentioned above. I run Satisfactory through Steam on a Windows 11 PC, if that helps. Any info or suggestions would be appreciated! Sorry if this is an obvious issue, I've done my best to research it but I'm unsure how to interpret the log.

Looks like a network issue. Are you using any VPN/proxy?

What should the logs match (regex)?

failed fetching all versions.{1,200}TLS handshake timeout

What should the response be?

Something is preventing SMM from contacting ficsit.app to determine what mod versions are avaialble. Are you using a VPN or proxy? Can you access https://ficsit.app in your web browser?

I use a VPN, I did try turning it off for SMM when the problem occurred but I didn't disable it for my browser application. Could be that. I can access ficsit.app in my web browser no problem, so that's weird. I'll mess around with my VPN settings to see if that resolves it. Thanks for taking a look!
