I've been recently experimenting with using

According to the lit lifecycle I've tried to hook in as follows:
1.
- Nothing (atoms are created outside the component as singletons)
2.
- Registry subscribes to all decorated atom properties
- Reads current atom values from global registry
3.
- Reads atom values from instance properties
- Displays current state
4.
- using
- Registry notifies all subscribers
- Subscription handler updates property and re-renders
5.
- Nothing specific to atoms
6.
- Calls all unsubscribe functions
- Clears subscription HashMap
- Atoms persist in global registry (other components may still use them)
I'm still experimenting with this but if anyone had experience with

updated()- Nothing specific to atoms

- Clears subscription HashMap
- Atoms persist in global registry (other components may still use them)
I'm still experimenting with this but if anyone had experience with
liteffect-atom
