debian + runtipi OR openmediavault + runtipi

I recently discovered run-tipi and I will use it for my new home-server ! I have experience with yunohost and openmediavault. But with my new docker skills I will feel more flexible with run-tipi. My question is: -> Is it a good idea to install run-tipi on a openmediavault system ? Instead of standard debian or ubuntu. I do not have complex hard-drive system to manage but I feel that openmediavaultcould help me managing the system and run-tipi the apps. What do you think about that ?
