Supabase project not pausing, restarting, or healthy.

So I was going to pause my Supabase project to test changes, and it was stuck on the spinner until I refreshed the page and realized that it didn’t do anything. I then tried restarting, and it lasted 1 second (I’m sure it didn’t restart) and now nothing besides the edge functions are healthy.

There are a large number of these issues right now, in particular in these regions: https://status.supabase.com/incidents/5hq69pvqdzmm You need to contact support with the troubleshooting tab and title "Project Stuck Pausing".

Also try a different browser and device just to rule out a dashboard state bug.

Yep. Maybe time to move off of Supabase. Just seems insane for an outage to last 2 days. Idk but if this project had real users and something unexpected happened that’s kind of scary. Also seems like support isn’t very responsive from what I’ve been reading online.

Is there litterally anything I can do? I really do not feel like going to Convex+Clerk. Becuase Supabase lets me be lazy ☹️ I'm really debating paying $20/month So this is really caused by the lovable and bolt cloud users?! 💀💀

The capacity issues are. Then there are queue backups that start impacting other operations is my understanding. And then of course infra team gets backed up fixing and support get backed up finding them in the queue (especially for free). Which is why we are suggesting keywords as they are filtering for them to move them on to the infra team.

I was at Select helping out. I can't talk about numbers I heard, but it was shocking. AWS is scrambling.

So is this a Supabase or AWS issue? This explains it, I thought it was just me. lol. of course I pause project at the EXACT WRONG TIME. So interesting.

It is too bad they can't lock down some for native Supabase users and I suggested they block attempts to do things that take away the instance before they have a new one, but that is major change.
But IMO no one knew what last week would bring with Bolt and Lovable throwing in a built in supabase with each project. Are you in region at capacity? It is a compounding thing because Supabase has some sort of infra process with queues that carries out all the various project steps and as that gets overloaded or starts getting errors and retries then it impacts other regions too.
Not that you should have to care.
If have your ticket number here drop and we have a spot we can drop tickets to make sure they at least get into the infra queue and not lost in support with everything else.

Yeah, I actually started in bolt, but then moved to cursor, but at that time bolt was just using supabase not bolt cloud. Ticket number is SU-265427 I don’t think I am in one of the regions actually. Thanks again. Really appreciate it.

It is V0/Figma/Lovable also. And it is just a click or included by default in some. Before you had to go thru a setup process.

Oh yeah I forgot about setup, and it’s being displayed everywhere throughout X and on their platforms. @garyaustin anything new? Sorry for the ping but really anxious about this. It’s just crazy I’m not even in the regions. If I pay the $25 for 1 month will it be fixed sooner?
