mastra traces
I've been playing around with mastra locally and my postgres app was saying reindexing was required. so I checked my tables and saw that the
mastra_traces table was already 64 GB when I'm the only one doing anything 🫨
is there a way to disable it / or just send it to something like Grafana Tempo instead5 Replies
Hey! Are you using the new AI Tracing? https://mastra.ai/en/docs/observability/ai-tracing/overview
AI Tracing | Observability | Mastra Docs
Set up AI tracing for Mastra applications
no but I will probably use this as well in the future if possible to integrate it with posthog's thing
I haven't enabled anything so I guess what is being stored in the
mastra_traces table is the default setting
but I haven't used Mastra in weeks now since it's been broken because of the transitive dependencies issue I opened a while ago, so not sure if you guys changed that or nothttps://mastra.ai/en/docs/observability/otel-tracing I guess I can configure it with this
OTEL Tracing | Mastra Observability Documentation
Set up OpenTelemetry tracing for Mastra applications
nvm seen that it's being deprecated next month
