but when it is a real thing it'll come loaded with Debian
Unofficial information:
It is said that the presale for the 4gb version is scheduled for November with a tentative price of 59USD and with delivery at the end of the year. Looking at the 2gb version, the estimated delivery time is 3-4 weeks. I'll leave you the link where I got the information from https://tech.yahoo.com/computing/articles/arduino-reveals-uno-q-board-130015621.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com

Arduino Reveals Uno Q Board With Debian Linux, and a Qualcomm Acqui...
There's a new Arduino board on the way to compete with Raspberry Pi, and the company is being absorbed into Qualcomm.
When is it offically available
I don't think they announced that yet tbh. Your gonna have to wait for an employee I think:
just get a pi 4 or 5 tbh
You can't beat Arduino when it comes to libraries and hardware support, so an SBC that supports Arduino libraries is pretty cool (if done right).
Also the Uno Q works out of box, so for education, it can be better than a pi, but it's not really out yet so we can't judge weather it's better than a pi or not.
The raspberry pi CPU is faster, and its a basically the same price
Also add an SD Card, Power adapter, and a cooler to that price.
True
Ive seen someone run win 11 on it smoothly (might be clickbait)
You can run win 11
although not smoothly
The micro SD is good, so you can have adjustable storage for free
The power supply and cooler are needed cuz the cpu is faster, so need a more power
Its like comparing an tablet to an desktop
I guess
Also RPI is not open hardware, Arduino is.
True, but its sun non- profit too
This is turning into a Pi vs Arduino disscusion, this is not a place for that.
You know what? It's like comparing an NANO TO AN ESP32, anyways, may the best dev board win
(OP was wondering when the UNO Q releases)
what
how to run linux on arduino Q like if i attach a oled display
