Upload numbers don't match up

The iOS app (v2.0.1) tells me I have 18,661 photos in my "recents" album and that it has backed up 18,661 of them.

The "Settings > Account usage statistics page" in the web interface tells me I have 17,866 photos and videos combined. That's 95% of the total photos the iOS app tells me it uploaded. What happened to the rest? I'm missing 795 photos.

I thought maybe duplicates, so I did "docker logs immich_server 2>&1 | grep UQ_assets_owner_checksum | wc -l" and got back 1,598. But 17,866 + 1,598 is 104% of the total photos. Confusing.

By the way, if I do "find library/admin -type f | wc -l" I get 18,712 which is 51 photos more than the total! Unexpected.

How can I make sure all my photos have been correctly uploaded?

how many photos are you seeing in the Recents album from the Apple Photos app?

on iOS, LivePhoto is uploaded as two files, a still image and a video part. So that is usually the reasons for the mismatched between the count of the Recents album and the count you are seeing from the server

The number from Apple Photos matches the number reported by the immich iOS app. However the settings > Account usage number in the web UI is 795 photos less.

so there are indeed duplicated in your library, getting the UQ_assets_owner_checksumUQ_assets_owner_checksum text from the log isn't the best way to find out how many assets are duplicated imo.

find library/admin -type f | wc -lfind library/admin -type f | wc -l also returns the video parts of LivePhoto, so normally the number here is higher than the total count in the Recents album

if you go to admin settings > server stats > can you take a screenshot of the stats for your account there?
