Resolved: Pairing issue
Hi!
My Corne nice!nano keyboard suddenly stopped connecting to the computer via Bluetooth after two weeks of perfect operation. The keyboard is brand new — I assembled it three weeks ago. What could be the problem?

Got it! Sudden BT failures are usually a stale “bond” or profile issue in ZMK, or a simple power/battery hiccup. Quick checks:
- Power/charge
- Make sure the power switch is ON.
- Plug in each half to charge for ~2 hours with the switch ON.
- Press the reset button: the blue LED should blink (confirms power).
- Pair the correct side
- Only the left half pairs to your computer. The right never does.
- Clear stale bonds on both sides
1) On your computer: remove/forget the keyboard from Bluetooth settings.
2) On the keyboard: clear the bond on the active profile by pressing the BT clear key (&bt BT_CLR).
- If you’re unsure which profile has the old bond, cycle profiles (&bt BT_NXT / &bt BT_PRV) and press BT_CLR on each (there are 5 profiles total).
- You can see where BT_CLR/BT_NXT are on our default keymap here: Corne Wireless > Firmware: https://docs.typeractive.xyz/build-guides/corne-wireless/firmware
- Try pairing again on the left half.
- If it still won’t pair, test with a phone/tablet (they have robust BLE). If it pairs there, it’s likely your computer’s BT stack; try driver/OS updates or a different adapter.

If that doesn’t fix it, let me know:
- OS and device you’re pairing to
- Whether the left half appears in the BT list
- If the blue LED blinks on reset
- Any changes to firmware/keymap recently
