In the age of AI, users increasingly expect technologies to be very easy to work with. The TypeDB team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to totally rethink the way users query TypeDB.
Agent mode in TypeDB Studio
TypeDB Studio 3.6.0 is out! The Query pane now has two query modes: "Code" and "Chat". In chat mode, you simply talk to an AI agent, which generates queries and schema, and optionally explains how they work. Behind the scenes it's powered by OpenAI's GPT-5 model series, which we chose based on accuracy, speed, and cost. The prompt is fairly open-ended, meaning it can also assist in building schemas, or provide emotional support.If a generated query is incorrect (errors, or gives a wrong answer), you can simply send the full results log back to the AI agent, prompting the agent to fix the mistake.

Other fixes
TypeDB Studio 3.6.0 includes a critical bugfix for Intel-based Macs - the desktop app would previously fail to launch on them. Thanks to @Mark for reporting and @krishnan for fixing this.- Launch TypeDB Studio >>
