Why can't I unlock or scan in prototype mode?
I have read the manual, it used to do the animation for scanning, but I haven't unlocked any aliens and it has since stopped doing the animation. Does it need to recharge or something? Love the app btw, just stuck

Hello @macks! Some things to keep in mind:

By "any" aliens, are you starting from fresh, or do you already have some unlocked perhaps?
I have no extras in the prototype version, but I've unlocked a ton in the recalibrate version. I've done the greymatter thing too
Whatโs the last alien you got?
If the animation stops happening it means you unlocked all the available aliens
Like I said, I dont have any unlocked for the prototype version, but I think the last one I unlocked in the recalibrate version was this hippo thing. Idk I think its an oc

Not at all, even though I've seen the scanning animations

It's an easy thing to forget. I've forgotten that I'm in a custom playlist too
