When I close Flarial after downgrading it just reverts back to the newest version

And it doesn't save all my MC settings because it makes me reinstall the version of Minecraft I want downgrade to all over again. #community-support

windows/xbox app issue technically the launcher has no way to update mc to the latest version

Is there a fix to it? So that it saves the version that I installed
