Can’t create sub-tags in Immich Tags list — is nested tagging supported?

Hi everyone! 👋 I’m trying to create sub-tags (nested tags) in the Tags list but can’t find a way to do it. What I’m seeing In the left sidebar (Tags), I have a parent tag like “Branch name” and many tags under it (e.g., Ahmedabad Gurukul, Chicago Gurukul (IL), Jinja Gurukul Africa, etc.). When I click the parent and try Create tag, it always creates a top-level tag, not a child under the selected one. Drag-and-drop doesn’t seem to nest, and I can’t find a context menu to “Add sub-tag”. Screenshot attached for reference. Questions Does Immich currently support nested / hierarchical tags? If yes, what’s the correct way to create a child tag under a selected parent? Thanks in advance! 🙏

You have to provide the full tag path with a slash as a level delimiter.

Hi everyone 👋 I’m getting the following error message in Immich when trying to open or view an album: Error – Something went wrong Not found or no album.read access (400) Stacktrace: Error: Error 400 at Object. At (as ok) … Screenshot attached for reference. What I already tried: Refreshed page and cleared browser cache. Logged out and logged in again. Restarted the Immich server and Postgres container. Checked permissions — I’m the owner/admin user. Questions: What exactly triggers this “no album.read access (400)” error? Could it be caused by album permissions, missing assets, or DB sync issues? How can I fix or reset access for affected albums? Thanks in advance! 🙏
