permission
Machine learning is returning an error when creating mlcache, it looks like a permission error on the dataset? Is there a specific permission setting I need to set on this dataset?

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close command, and re-open it later if needed.what platform are you on? how have you deployed immich?
I'm on truenas and immich is deployed
so you are using the truenas app catalog?
that's correct
Can you share screenshots of your app settings?
(truenas immich app)
yes, just 1 moment

You need to ensure the container has permissions here. Since you're not using an ix volume I don't think truenas does it for you
is the best practice to use ix volume?
Or maybe it got missed in the catalog as you checked automatic permissions
I like to be in control of my data, I don't fully understand how ix volumes work so I'm not using them. Not sure there is a correct method here
or i guess i could try granting the container permissions
(and figure out how to do that)
Something I'd suggest you know how to do regardless. Either way should work
thanks for the help. i'll look into how to set the container permission and fallback on ix volume if all else fails
