Linked Roles feature and "Make Visible" to all channels question
just tested the linked roles feature of the ayako bot and it works wonders, thank you for adding that in,, pretty much what i've been looking for.
- so i understand that in order for the role to be visible in all channels, you'd have to click on "All" to do so. say i were to create a new channel, do i have to manually add said channel or will the bot automatically add the new channel?
- i know that you can hide ayako commands for other users by going to the Integrations tab in the server settings. however, this does not affect admins and the server owner. searched if it's possible to hide/remove commands for them via a dashboard or something but i guess it isn't. is there really no other way around this?
- though i think a workaround for this is to kick the bot, then add it again if it's needed. but if i do kick the bot, will the linked roles feature still work? will it still add newly created channels?

Do that either using the "All" button again, selecting the specific channel in the channel drop down
or if you wanna go full manual; go into the channels permission settings and simply add your linked role to the list of overrides. It does not need any special permission sets or anything, it just needs to be in the list....

you're correct, there really is no way to hide ayako's commands for admins. I'm as bummed out about this as you are but a workaround from my side is on my to-do list
Kicking the bot could be an option, I honestly haven't tried it. If you wanna do so, go ahead. Ayako does not apply any destruction or deletion on your settings when she leaves a server.
Doing this along with the full manual method above would work. Using the buttons to do this wouldn't work.
But be aware that you will have to re-add ayako to the server when you want to allow a new user to take the linked role if you maintain an allow-list of users manually
A role allow-list can be used for this, as it doesnt rely on Ayako.
But Ayako can also not remove the linked role from a member when they no longer qualify for it since she isn't on the server, for this you would have to re-add her.
