Calamity mod not updating

My calamity mod is stuck on version 2.0.5 and tmodloader doesnt show it needs to update. im on the latest tmodloader version and i even tried unsubscribing from styeam library and redownloading calamity on modloader and it doesnt work

edit: i tried verifying the files but it didnt work

Check the Manage Mods menu. If there are mods with a pink/magenta background and no Steam icon, delete those mods. What it means is you have a local install of the mod which is overriding the likely more up-to-date Steam version. Deleting the local version will let you use the Steam version.
To delete the mod you can either:

With the mod disabled, click the trash can icon to delete the mod in the Manage Mods menu.
OR go to Documents\My Games\Terraria\tModLoader\ModsDocuments\My Games\Terraria\tModLoader\Mods and delete the tmodtmod files there.

^ same thing if it is a light blue background. That means it's a frozen version from a mod pack.

when looking at my mods folder, all i had were a json file called enabled and a Modpacks folder

also instead of saying loading from steam workshop it says loading from modpack

for some of my mods cus i made a modpack for calamity so i wouldnt have to enable them all again when i wanted to play calamity again

i went into the modpacks folder and found the calamity mod and calamity mod music .tmod files. i deleted them then unsubscribed and resubscribed them on steam workshop and its now fixed

also should i remove all my other mods from the mod pack or like move them out so that i dont have to do this every time when theres an update
