As for the backups page count not matching the remote assets count, it could be that the user has duplicated assets across different albums and are de-duped

Do we count the duplicated in the total count?

it is entirely possible that nothing is wrong, im just not sure if something is missing or not

@Hexie I believe there are duplicates in the albums you are selected, although I agree it is confusing here

You export the local Sqlite database and we can help query them to check for duplicate assets

im ready to do whatever necessary, i am not entirely knowledgeable so if you shoot me some commands i will post the outputs here

yeah, we can take a look at it on Monday, or if you are comfortable, you can DM me the sqlite database and I can get the asset info that are duplicates for you you can export the database by going to App Settings > Sync Status > Scroll to the bottom, you should see a button to export database

does this contain full images or just filenames? i suppose file names (or hashes?)

I think we do, yes the name, the time taken and other similar metadata. it will also contain your remote album names, and other metadata from the server, but none of the actual files though

ive sent it to Alex i also had a question, but this is docker related i think, but if you could give me some pointers please i use bind mounts for the data in docker, the immich container makes a volume from what i can tell that im not specifying it to make in the compose file, every time i update the image it makes a new one so i need to prune them for my ocd, any way i can stop this behaviour? the folder seems empty
