Very slow thumbnail api response

I'm suffering with extremely long response times from the api /api/assets/xxxx/thumbnail?size=thumbnail&c=xxxx on timeline and people tab. My specs are: OS: Arch Linux x86_64 Host: Lenovo ideapad 310-15IKB CPU: Intel i5-7200U (4) @ 3.100GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 920MX GPU: Intel HD Graphics 620 Memory: 4666MiB / 7834MiB I'm trying to debug/profile this further but if anyone has faced this before, please let me know.

what's your storage type? What is an extremely long time?

@Tempest extremely long time is as shared in the screenshot - 12s for one thumbnail. Storage is SSD.

What else is running on your system? It’s pretty weak overall. Maybe benchmark your storage Also post the compose and env As well as /etc/fstab Extremely unlikely for this to be an actual immich issue Oh also, how are you connecting to immich?
