Gadget Ai assistant times out after every request.
Hi, I had an issue with this a few months ago and it was checked on. And someone on the gadget team said they updated something for me. But I haven’t been able to use the gadget AI assistant in months, even if I start numerous new chats. It seems to constantly time out. Usually the timing out occurs when it’s reading over a file. But I’ve tried this with tons of different files. Reloaded, different browsers. Pretty much everything. I really wish I could use the AI assistant because it’s very very helpful. Let me know if this could be fixed for me. Thank you!

unfortunately so far im getting this. It was able to answer one question and then went straight to this again. Ill try opening a few more new chats still though

Still for large files it times out. Not as instantly as it was, but I keep trying new chats. Sometimes It answers questions if it doesnt have to search through the files
Ok i have noticed after playing around with it even more. Its a lot better when you hit the assistant timed out button and where you click try again. It hasnt been on an endless loop recently where you need to start a new chat over and over but still getting timing out issues

Your app is huge btw which is stressing the assistant. But we need to get that right so once again, apologies, and thank you for pushing us to find these performance issues
I totally get it and once again no rush I appreciate you wanting to get it figured out too. Usually it seems like files with 2k+ lines of code where it times out which completely makes sense. I just want gadget to be as bulletproof as possible! Let me know whenever and I’ll try again 🙂

Ok its been night and day. Been getting recently a few errors now. One timeout and one new one ive never seen. "OOM command not allowed under OOM prevention." but thats only when it tries to change multiple files at once. I know its not gonna be perfect so its very good as of now thank you for all your help
