I am hosting a world and every time my friend tries to join it stops on "syncing mods"

I am hosting a world to my friend and every time he tries to join the world it just says "syncing mods'' then after about a minute it says "connection lost". We have been trying to play together for days now and have read through every forum imaginable trying to find a fix. We really need help. I have attached my (the hosts) logs.

this can be the effect of some mods which are not compatible with each other (speaking of experience) the solution is a bit tiresome as it involves unloading one mod at a time and check if the problem is fixed. this can take minutes or sometimes hours.

I tried removing the mods, but it doesn't work even without mods

I am still running into the exact same issue as well, even with no mods the "syncing mods screen still appears.
