Change date bug?
Hi all
Got a lot of pictures created the same day with an error in the date (my camera was wrong date).
I've selected the pictures on immich, check "change date", and ask to add 12hours to all pictures.
I got this error on web app : Failed to update assets (Immich Server Error)
And on the logs (in other post.. too long)

Hey!
I saw https://github.com/immich-app/immich/issues/24028 is already closed. But I have a question, if you don't mind.
- Do the photos that you try updating datetime for belong to your account in Immich (your external library)? Or maybe they are shared by a partner (belong to their external library)?
It seems there are actually 2 issues / causes.
Context:
When Immich updates datetime it first writes to the database, then to a sidecar (and later re-reads metadata from the original image and its sidecar if present).
Therefore:
even if the asset is readonly, this should not affect the SQL query
sql: 'update "asset_exif" set "dateTimeOriginal" = ...
The query failure is caused by another factor/issue.
Details:
Below is a trimmed version of DB queries and Immich logs for updating/offsetting datetime of a couple of assets in a readonly external library on my test instance
Have a look at the very first query: it filters assets by owner ID and "not locked" status.
