How to best upload iCloud Photos to Immich without duplication?
I have an issue. I want to upload my iCloud Photo Library in full to my Immich instance. At first I was using my main phone just slowly uploading them through the official iOS app, but this took too long. I tried to do the iCloud export, but I simply don’t have the storage to upload my 21k+ items.
Now I’ve gotten my old iPhone SE (2nd Gen) left on for over a day, uploading the photos. But now I’ve opened the Immich client on my main iPhone and it shows a duplicate of each photo - one on my main phone which hasn’t been uploaded, and the same one from my old phone which has been uploaded.
I’m wondering if there’s any better way to do this? Immich doesn’t seem to know when two images are the same and I don’t wanna reupload it… they’re on the same Apple account btw.
