Bunch of images showing "Error loading image"

Hey there!
My father has some issues with Immich
For some reason, his Immich has plenty of gray photos written with "Error loading image"
In fact it seems quite normal because those photos are not on the disk!
How may I fix this?
Also, I saw that bunch of them use this format: ._P1060211.JPG
Having dots in file names seems an horrible idea
Might it be linked with my issue?
Also, it might have happened when he tried to import thousands of photos
